Novartis AG Annual Shareholders Meeting Transcript
[Interpreted] Ladies and gentlemen, good morning, and welcome most warmly to the 24th Annual General Meeting. It's a great pleasure, once again, to see a large number of shareholders here with us.
I would like, in particular, to welcome members of the Board of Directors who are here today. That's Nancy Andrews, Ton Buechner, Patrice Bula, Srikant Datar, Elizabeth Doherty, Ann Fudge, Andreas von Planta and up here on the stage with me, Enrico Vanni. I would also like to extend a warm welcome to the candidate members of the Board of Directors, Ms. Bridgette Heller and Mr. Simon Moroney as well as the attending members of the executive committee.
In addition, I would like to welcome the representatives of our auditors, PricewaterhouseCoopers; our notary, Andrea Schmutz; and the independent proxy, Mr. Peter Andreas Zahn.
