Bayer AG Annual Shareholders Meeting Transcript
Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. As Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Bayer AG, and in turn, Chairman of the Annual Stockholders' Meeting, I hereby open the ordinary stockholders' meeting of our company. I would like to welcome our shareholders as well as our shareholder representatives as well as our guests and the representatives of the media. And I'd also like to thank you that you accepted our invitation to come to this Annual Stockholders' Meeting here in Bonn.
The members of the Board of Management are all present. The members of the Supervisory Board are also all present, with the exception of my deputy, Mr. Zühlke, who has unfortunately fallen ill. The auditorium seems quite well filled now and therefore, I would like to draw your attention to the fact that the Annual Stockholders' Meeting will be broadcast over loudspeakers and, to a certain extent, via video feeds in the other rooms of the presence area. Should there be any difficulties in this respect, please approach any of our staff.
