National Grid PLC Annual Shareholders Meeting Transcript
Good morning, everyone. A very warm welcome to the 2019 Annual General Meeting of National Grid. And thank you very much, indeed, for coming today. I'm Peter Gershon, Chairman of the company, and I will be chairing today's meeting.
As we get started, there are a few housekeeping points I would like to make. There is no fire alarm test scheduled for this morning. So if you hear a fire alarm, please make your way immediately to the nearest exit. Please also ensure that your mobile phones and all other electronic devices are either set to silent or switched off, so that you do not inconvenience other shareholders who are here today. If you leave the hall at any point during the meeting, please make sure that you take your bags and any other belongings with you.
And one final housekeeping point. As in previous years, we are live streaming our AGM for a webcast that you will be able to view on our website after the meeting. However, I can assure you that shareholders who ask questions will not be filmed.
