Just as a quick introduction, Cognex is a unique company, which brings vision, recognition software and artificial intelligence to the industrial automation markets. Cognex worldwide growth opportunity is very significant and that the company's technology enables automation equipment to perform key functions such as identification and guidance at very quick speeds and accuracy.
Cognex has a dominant position in the machine vision industry by any measurement, including installed base, patents or brand recognition. Management has placed additional emphasis on building out its global sales and marketing infrastructure and accelerated its focus on new product initiatives. Both of these efforts
