Thank you for the introduction, and good morning, ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to Geberit 9-month conference call. We will start with the third quarter key figures, then comment on the 9-month development and finish with an outlook for the rest of the year.
Let me start with our key messages for the third quarter. The third quarter was marked by strong sales price increases to mitigate the unprecedented cost inflation; second, a substantial volume decline in Europe due to an anticipated, however, unexpected strong destocking at wholesalers; third, a strong volume growth outside Europe; fourth, an unexpected explosion of energy prices; and fifth, a strong negative
