I'd like to thank you for joining us this morning for the VICI Properties virtual fireside chat at the Stifel's Third Annual Cross-Sector Insight Conference. My name is Simon Yarmak. I'm a senior analyst at Stifel.
With us from VICI Properties is CEO, Ed Pitoniak, President; John Payne; and CFO, David Kieske. Thank you for participating on the call. VICI Properties as a casino REIT was formed in October 2017 as a solution for Caesars bankruptcy. It's one of the fastest-growing REITs, and it's been one of the most active REITs with over $7.5 billion of announced acquisition activity.
Its largest tenant is Caesar and has diversified its portfolio in the last couple of years by adding Penn National, Hard Rock, Century and most recently, JACK. The dividend yield is north of 5%. It's well protected and covered. With that, I would like to turn it over to Ed for some opening comments.
