Good day, and welcome to Suominen's Q1 2021 result publication. My name is Emilia Peltola and I'm heading Suominen's communication and investor relations. Today, our President and CEO, Petri Helsky and CFO, Toni Tamminen will present the result and after the presentation, there is time for questions.
So please, Petri.
Thank you. Thank you, Emilia. And welcome on my behalf as well. So, the first quarter of year '21 was very good for Suominen. Our EBITDA improved significantly, actually, we reached a record level of EUR18.5 million. Our net sales increased by 5% or up to 115 million, and as you will see from later slides, there was quite an impact, negative impact from currencies.
The cash flow was strong, EUR16 million, and that we have now, during the last several quarters, of course, been commenting about the COVID-19 pandemic. And as we have said, the pandemic has increased the sales volumes in all our
