So let's get started with the next session. Thanks for joining us. I'm Jon Komp, Baird's senior analyst covering the active lifestyle sector including fitness.
Very pleased to have Planet Fitness with us for the next session here, including CEO, Chris Rondeau; and President and CFO, Dorvin Lively. And as many of you may know, Planet Fitness really a leader and disruptor in the industry, covering out a unique niche with high-value, low-price positioning to all the very inclusive model, which we'll hear more about. And really has been a very consistent executor and has delivered strong performance.
And just looking back, if you look today versus the year prior becoming public, Planet's roughly doubled the unit count, more than doubled the member base, been growing the bottom line profitability by a mid-20% compound growth rate. So very consistent performance. And importantly, we think there's a lot of room to go. Even with 13.5 million members today, we see a long runway.
