Vizio Holding Corp at Bank of America Global Technology Conference Transcript
Thank you for joining us here at the first day of the BofA Global Tech Conference. We're delighted all of you who could join us when we're here today. We -- I'm Wamsi Mohan. I'm the IT hardware and supply chain analyst here at BofA. We have the pleasure today of being joined by VIZIO. We have Adam Townsend, who is CFO of VIZIO, he became CFO in 2020. And prior to that, he's had a long career at ViacomCBS and Showtime. He was CFO at Showtime, specifically.
And so VIZIO has gone through a large transformation as a company. I mean I remember the initial attempt to go public back in maybe 2015 or so, and that was very early days as a TV company that had some aspirations on the Platform+ side. And today, the company has really made some large strategic changes and pivots and investments that have really transform the way that investors, I think, should view the business.
So Adam, thank you so much for joining us here today, and would love to get some of the insight on what these changes have been.
