All right. Hello, everyone. Welcome to another year of JPMorgan Healthcare Conference. My name is Cindy Xu. I'm an associate at the JPMorgan Healthcare Investment Banking team. Without further ado, it's my great pleasure to introduce you, Carl Hansen, the CEO of AbCellera. Thank you.
Thank so much, Cindy, and thanks, everyone, for coming today. It's a pleasure to be here and to reconnect with colleagues at JPMorgan. I was giving a lot of thought as to how I might start this today and I came up with a metaphor, and I'm going to give it a try. We'll see if it lands.
So the metaphor is that building a company is a lot like raising a child. So you found a company, it's small. It's helpless. It needs a lot of support. It takes about 20 years to raise that child to maturity. And if you do it right, if you lay the foundation, you have high hopes that child can go off into the world and
