transition itself from a commodity company to a more consistent value-added ingredient company. Ingredion has begun to aggressively reduce cost, peak pricing and optimize its network while seeking to expand its specialty exposure through capital projects. We're fortunate to have CFO, Jim Gray, this morning to provide a path to which Ingredion will reestablish its long-term growth algorithm.
Jim, who became CFO a little more than 2 years ago, has been laser-focused on return on capital, improving processes and cash generation. Interestingly, Jim spent 12 years at Pepsi in senior finance and strategy positions.
