It's my pleasure to introduce Ralph Izzo. Chairman, President and CEO of Public Service Enterprise Group, PSEG. So we've got our second utility.
Ralph was elected Chairman and CEO of PSEG in 2007 and was named the company's President, CEO and Member of the Board in 2006. He's well-known and highly-respected leader within the utility industry as well as in the public policy arena. He's frequently asked to testify before Congress and speak to organizations on matters pertaining to national energy policy. In my research for the introduction, I learned about how the company is helping consumers invest in the grid, how -- and how he believes it's cheaper to make nuclear power plants economic than to get rid of them. Mr. Izzo has also called for a national price on carbon and describes how nuclear power is a tale of two stories, regulated and unregulated, so touching some of that in his remarks.
