Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. We were delaying a minute or 2. I don't know if you knew -- I just learned the Canadian government is sending texts out on your phone for the emergency system. So I'm anticipating at some point as we're speaking, we're going to hear some sort of loud alarm as it might come in at different times apparently.
So in any event, I am Jeffrey Orr, I'm the Chair of Canada Life and Great-West Lifeco. And it's my pleasure to welcome (inaudible) Canada, Great-West Lifeco. (foreign language)
So today, we are gathered in Toronto on the traditional territory of the Anishinaabe, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee, the Wendat peoples and the Mississaugas of the credit.
Toronto is now home to many diverse first nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples. We acknowledge the DISH with One Spoon Covenant a tree whose spirit is one based on a collective stewardship, and sharing of land and resources and one which extends to all nations living in present-day Toronto.
