Good morning. I would like to welcome to the Loblaw Companies Limited Annual Meeting of Shareholders. I will now turn the call over to Galen Weston, Executive Chairman.
Good morning, and welcome to the 65th Annual General Meeting of Loblaw Companies Limited. I'm Galen Weston, the Executive Chairman of the company.
Every year, we look forward to this meeting and the opportunity it provides to speak with our shareholders. Again, this year, the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and lock down restrictions in place mean that we find ourselves unable to gather in person.
And while this meeting of shareholders will certainly be different than most previous years, our team has worked to replicate as best we can, our regular meeting environment in a virtual format.
