Thank you very much. My name is Patrick Shafer. I'm the Chief Investment Officer of Portman Ridge. Portman Ridge is a publicly traded BDC on the Nasdaq under the ticker LRFC. We are an externally managed BDC by an affiliate of BC Partners, which is a global alternative asset manager that manages over $40 billion in assets between private equity, private credit and real estate investments.
For those unfamiliar, the BDC structure is very similar to a REIT or an MLP, whereas our company is required to distribute over 90% of our income to shareholders. In exchange, we have an advantageous tax structure where we don't pay any taxes and individual shareholders pay the tax.
