Half Year 2023 United Oil & Gas PLC Earnings Call Transcript
Good morning, everybody, and thank you for joining today's call. Just some brief housekeeping to go through first. We will have a brief presentation this morning to run through. After which, we're happy to take any questions that you may have.
As per previous formats for these calls, there is a box at the bottom of your screen where you can submit questions throughout the presentation. We do have a moderator, who will then put the questions to us once we get through the slide decks.
I'll just briefly introduce myself and Peter. I'm your CEO, Brian and to my right is Peter Dunne, our CFO. And without further ado, we'll get into this morning's presentation. There's so many -- and starting with Egypt, it's been another very busy period for the company. We drilled two successful wells, the ASH-8 well and the ASD-3 well, alongside a number of production-enhancing workovers.
This resulted in half-one production averaging just over 1,100 barrels of oil equivalent per day. And now we're preparing for the next well
