Discovery Inc at JPMorgan Global Technology, Media and Communications Conference Transcript
Good morning. I think we're going to get going and stay on time. We are thrilled here to have David Zaslav, President and CEO of Discovery at JPMorgan's TMC Conference. Under David's leadership, Discovery has completed the acquisition of Scripps Networks Interactive last year. Together, the combined companies comprise a world-class portfolio of nonfiction, sports and lifestyle entertainment brands.
I think domestically, Discovery now captures more than 20% audience share for ad-supported cable and the top 4 networks for women, which has never been accomplished before. And internationally, Discovery's content is now distributed in over 220 markets. And David is also spearheading Discovery's move from linear to direct-to-consumer model with the launch of GOLFTV, an upcoming factual streaming services.
