I will explain the status of progress for the 6th Medium-Term Management Plan announced in May 2019. First, I would like to review our financial results for the second quarter of fiscal year 2019, previously announced.
Net sales were JPY 2.1793 trillion, an increase of 9.9% a year; operating income was JPY 209.3 billion, up by 10.4%; ordinary income was JPY 207.9 billion, up by 8.4%; and net income was JPY 147.3 billion, up by 12.1%, all items marked record numbers.
