Good morning, everyone, and welcome to our interim results presentation. I'm joined today by our CFO, Imran Nawaz. Good morning, Imran.
This morning, I'll give some brief reflections on our first half. Imran will then talk you through the financial performance. And after that, I'm going to speak about our strategic priorities and performance framework going forward. Of course, we'll make sure there's plenty of time for Q&A at the end.
Now it's just over a year since I joined the team at Tesco. And before we talk about the half, I wanted to reflect on the progress we've made over the last 12 months. First of all, in an extremely competitive U.K. market, I'm delighted that we've grown market share. This is the result of our absolute focus on customer satisfaction, which has stepped forward across all areas. In particular, we have delivered a consistently strong price proposition and maintained great availability despite some significant industry challenges.
