Okta Inc at Needham Growth Conference Transcript
Well, at the risk of starting a little bit earlier and having a few people walking in while we're up and running, we're going to do a fireside chat with Okta this morning. Bill Losch, the CFO, is going to be here from Okta.
We strongly believe the center of gravity of security is not only in the process, but has already moved out of the data center and into the cloud. We strongly believe that, over time, there'll be a number of cloud platforms that are integrated across what is industry calls the Zero Trust model. In that world, security is delivered by protecting users, data and applications. The connective tissue that centers all of those elements is identity, and we strongly believe that Okta is the de facto standard in the identity market and is the connective tissue that allows cloud security to happen. So we have a buy recommendation on the stock, and we continue to recommend it.
