Hi, everyone. I'm Taylor Combaluzier, a mining analyst at Red Cloud Securities. This session of our Pre-PDAC Mining Showcase will feature Canada Nickel Company. From the company, we have with us Mark Selby, Chairman, CEO, and Director. (Operator Instructions) So with that, I'll turn it right over to Mark to guide us through the story.
Thanks, Taylor. Canada Nickel, very simply, it's a brand-new nickel sulphide discovery, was discovered in late 2018. We acquired it after four drill holes in September 2019. In just over 18 months, we've turned it into one of the 10 largest sulphide resources globally. We're sitting just outside Timmins, just north of Timmins, about 30 kilometers, adjacent to a highway.
We have all the major infrastructure we need in place. We've already signed MOUs with the local First Nations groups and have very, very strong community support. Our goal here is to advance this project to be ready for what we
