Capitaland Investment Ltd Annual Shareholders Meeting Transcript
Hi, morning everyone, shareholders. So nice to be having this AGM in a physical setting. I think the last time the old CapitaLand had a physical AGM was in 2019 when we sought shareholders' approval for the merger between CapitaLand and Ascendas-Singbridge, which actually laid the foundation for the subsequent restructuring to privatize the development business, and subsequently also to lease CLI, which all of you today are shareholders of.
Thank you for all the support. I mean, I believe it has allowed the shareholders to unlock shareholder value, at least in the short run, but more importantly, to create the platform, which is a CLI platform, that will allow us to continue to build new capabilities and to grow enterprise value along the way.
Today, CLI has four key earnings drivers, which is largely the REITs business, which I'm sure all of you are very familiar with. We have six listed REITs, five of them in Singapore. I think the key for the REITs team is to make sure that we can continue to grow the various REITs under our
