Listing shareholders and shareholder proxies. Ladies and gentlemen, as Chair of the Supervisory Board, I now open the Annual General Meeting of Software Aktiengesellschaft. On behalf, my name is Karl-Heinz Streibich, and I'm the Chairperson of the Supervisory Board and today's leader of this Annual Shareholders' Meeting. On behalf of the management Board, and of my colleagues on the Supervisory Board, I'm honored to welcome all shareholders and viewers who are following today's Annual Shareholders' Meeting online.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the German government passed legislation in March 2020, which makes it possible to hold the Annual Shareholders' Meeting without the physical presence of shareholders or their proxies. This option was extended in December 2020 through the end of 2021. In the interest of the safety of our shareholders and employees, the Management Board decided with the consent of the Supervisory Board to hold a virtual Annual Shareholders' Meeting.
