Synlogic Inc To Host Virtual R&D Event Transcript
Welcome to Synlogic's R&D event. We had initially hoped to host this as an in-person meeting, but circumstances have forced us to adjust our plans. SARS CoV-2 has had impacts across our business outside of our plan for in-person meetings, and before diving into our science, I'd just like to take a moment to recognize the amazing resilience demonstrated by the Synlogic team as well as our external partners as we deal with what has become our new reality.
As we observe the human suffering brought on by this novel virus, we've also been energized by our mission of developing a novel treatment platform that has potential to help patients across many disease areas. I observe a new determination in the eyes looking out above the mask, and I'm proud to share with you today some of our recent progress as well as our future plans.
