Hello. My name is Dick Richelle, CEO of Royal Vopak.
Our short-term performance in 2021 has been good. On safety and service, our performance was at our best level yet. And we delivered a good financial performance with an improved EBITDA. This was mainly driven by contribution from growth projects and good focus on costs. Despite volatile global markets with low demand for storage due to tight supplies, Vopak has, again, proven its resilience. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all who contributed to this.
We serve our customers all around the world and are proud of the positive feedback we receive from them. We contribute to the delivery of their vital products to society. As a good example, our successful LNG joint venture with Gasunie in Rotterdam is important for the security of energy in Northwest Europe.
