TechnipFMC PLC at Barclays CEO Energy-Power Conference Transcript
All right. Great. I think we'll kick off the next session here. So I'd like to introduce our next speaker, Mr. Doug Pferdehirt, Chairman and CEO of TechnipFMC. Doug has been CEO since the merger of FMC Technologies and Technip in 2017. He was CEO of FMC since 2016 after joining the company in 2012, previously spending 26 years at Schlumberger. Just last week, the company announced it will be spinning off its E&C business, better known as Onshore/Offshore, which will be led by Spin's -- SpinCo Co-CEO elect Catherine MacGregor, who also joins us this afternoon. She joined the company recently after a 23-year career also at Schlumberger, including President of The Drilling Group and area President for Europe and Africa. The proposed spin is a bold move but one I think a lot of U.S. investors, in particular, will embrace as it essentially creates a largely pure-play subsea company alongside a purely E&C company.
