Half Year 2022 Westgold Resources Ltd Earnings Call Transcript
This is the Westgold Resources Limited half-year results presentation. I'm Wayne Bramwell, Executive Director. And today, I am joined with our CEO, Debbie Fullarton, to walk through the half-year results.
Slide 3. The company has been reporting quarterly results in full detail for some time now. So in today's presentation, there are really no surprises. The points here, I won't read too. But again, we will speak to in some detail as to what the major cost drivers have been for us for the first half of FY22. Slide 4.
Talking to the key metrics for the half year. So Westgold had a record gold production for the half delivering 132,861 ounces. This has resulted in an increase in revenue, which is up 3% to $311 million.
We have experienced an increase in the cost of sales, which is up 22%, largely through the industry, labor, and cost pressures. We've paid out our cash dividend, so returning $6 million to our shareholders.
