Boeing Co at Jefferies Industrials Conference Transcript
Good morning, everyone. My name is Sheila Kahyaoglu with the Jefferies aerospace and defense team. And today, we are thrilled to have Dennis Muilenburg here, who is Chairman, President and CEO of the Boeing Company.
I'll start off with a little anecdote. My first encounter with Dennis was at an analyst day not so long ago, and he made a point to seek out conversation with me. And the first thing I brought up was a piece of automation equipment I had seen on the factory floor that day. Dennis immediately knew what I was talking about and referenced the automation company that was Seattle-based that Boeing essentially had ceded. So my first impression of Dennis was cemented then, that one, he cares about the small stuff, myself included; and two, he focuses on technology, innovation and automation, which we'll get to later.
