[Interpreted] Dear shareholders, good morning. Welcome to the combined General Meeting of EssilorLuxottica. I will be chairing this meeting in my capacity as a member of the Board in accordance with the decision of the Board of Directors dated 21 April 2021.

In the context of the COVID-19 epidemic and in accordance with the measures taken by the government to combat the spread of this virus and, in particular, the restrictions on travel and gatherings, it has been decided that this general meeting will be held without the physical presence of its shareholders and persons entitled to attend.
