Bega Cheese Ltd Annual Shareholders Meeting Transcript
Hello, everyone, and really lovely to have people join us in person despite the floods in the local valley and the fact that we've not been able to be together for a number of years now due to COVID.
Look, before I do formally start, I noticed at the back of the room, I've got three of my favorite people Lucas, Debbie Elliott and Helen Peters, who worked for Bega Cheese for, I think combined, it would be close enough to 150 years, but a very, very, very, very long time, and they were always very, very kind and look after me through that entire period of time. Every time I would wander into the Bega office, they were familiar faces. So lovely to have them join me today formally. And I guess it is the opportunity because we haven't had the opportunity to be together to just acknowledge some of the deep history that is with some of our staff at Bega Cheese, and they, indeed, were with us when we just had one tiny little site on the -- at Lagoon Street in Bega and made a little bit of cheese, and so it is lovely to have them here today.
