Medibank Private Ltd Annual Shareholders Meeting Transcript
Good morning, and welcome to the 2019 Medibank Annual General Meeting. On behalf of the Board, I acknowledge the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation who are the traditional owners of the land which we meet on today, and pay my respects to their elders past, present and emerging.
We recognize the health gap between indigenous and other Australians and acknowledge the ongoing commitment of those working within these communities to close this.
Joining me on the stage is the Medibank Board of Directors, and I will now ask them to stand as I introduce them to you. On my far right is Dr. Tracey Batten; followed by Peter Hodgett, who is Chair of the Investment and Capital Committee; next is Linda Nicholls, who is the Chair of the People and Remuneration Committee, and who is standing for reelection today; followed by a person I'm sure you all know, our Chief Executive Officer, Craig Drummond.
