Good morning, welcome to Oppenheimer's 29th Health Care Conference. I'm Mike Wiederhorn. It's my pleasure to have Chemed Corporation, to have the President, CEO, Kevin McNamara; and Chief Financial Officer, David Williams.
Thanks, Mike. One of the things that I always do for a couple of minutes is explain the combination of companies that is a nation's largest hospice company and a plumbing and drain, excavation and water restoration company. Together -- and it's really pretty much happenstance, Chemed is a company that spun off of W.R. Grace & Company in 1980. At the time it had a -- it was a specialty chemical group. It had a health care group. In 1981, it spunned most of its health care group off into a company, Omnicare, now purchased by CBS.
