Cochlear Ltd Annual Shareholders Meeting Transcript
Good morning, and welcome to the 2022 Annual General Meeting of Cochlear Limited. I'm Alison Deans, Chair of Cochlear, and it's my pleasure to welcome shareholders attending today's meeting in person here at Cochlear headquarters in Sydney and also those attending online. Thank you to Jack Barnes for sharing his experience as a Cochlear recipient.
I'm advised by the Company Secretary that we have a quorum of members present, and accordingly, I now declare the meeting open. On behalf of the Board, I'd like to acknowledge the traditional custodians of the lands on which we meet physically today, the Wallumattagal Peoples of the Darug Nation. I'd like to pay respects to all elders, both past and present, and to leaders emerging. I'd also like to acknowledge the traditional custodians of the various lands in which we meet virtually today and acknowledge today's aboriginal communities who are the custodians of these lands.
