Half Year 2021 Easyjet PLC Earnings Call Transcript
Good morning, everyone, and thank you for joining us here to discuss the easyJet's H1 result for 2021. I actually like to start to introduce my colleagues that I have with me here, who's going to help me talk through the presentation and also take any questions that you might have here at the end. We're going to leave lots of time for questions as well. I have Kenton Jarvis, who is the company's CFO, with me here; the COO, Peter Bellew, over here; Sophie Dekkers, our Chief Commercial Officer here; and also Garry Wilson, who's the CEO of easyJet Holidays here.

So I'll talk you through the presentation, and we're starting on Slide #2. Now this past year has been nothing, if not extraordinary. The last -- this time last year, we were a month into an 11-week grounding, absolutely unimaginable only a few weeks earlier and over the course or 2021, international leisure travel was made illegal from the U.K.
