Costa Group Holdings Ltd Investor Briefing Call Transcript
Good morning. My name is Harry Debney, Interim CEO of Costa. I'm joined this morning by our CFO, Wayne Johnson; and our Corporate Affairs Manager, Michael Toby. When Costa announced its calendar year first half results in August, the company advised it would update the market on second half calendar year trading and the full year forecast, much more information on the progress of this year's citrus crop was available.
Before moving to citrus, just to comment on the rest of the portfolio. The balance of the portfolio continues to perform in line with expected levels in berries, tomatoes and mushrooms as well as a strong calendar year '22 results from the International business unit.
The avocado category in the second half is benefiting from improved pricing, which should deliver a modest gain from previous levels. In the citrus category, the Queensland crop has now been harvested and packed. The southern crops in the Riverland and Sunraysia are approximately 80% through the harvest with late navels and
