Thank you for holding, and welcome everyone to the Matinas Biopharma Annual Meeting of Stockholders. (Operator Instructions) Thank you. I will now turn the call over to Jerry Jabbour.
Good morning. I'm Jerry Jabbour, Chief Executive Officer of Matinas Biopharma Holdings, Inc. On behalf of the officers and the Board of Directors of Martinez, I would like to welcome you to our Annual Meeting of Stockholders. We are pleased to have each of you participating virtually.
We will begin with the formal business of the Annual Meeting contained in the proxy materials previously mailed to all stockholders. We have scheduled and announced our third quarter 2023 update call for November 8, 2023, and we'll provide a business update at that time, so we will not include a formal presentation during this morning's meeting. You will, however, have the opportunity to submit questions regarding the company following the conclusion of the formal meeting this morning.
