Nordstrom Inc Annual Shareholders Meeting Transcript
All right. Good morning, everyone. For those of you I haven't had the pleasure of meeting in person, my name is Brad Smith, and I have the privilege of serving as the Chair of the Nordstrom Board. And on behalf of my fellow directors and the Nordstrom management team, we want to welcome you to our Annual Shareholder Meeting.
Our agenda this morning is going to be to the point. We're going to reflect on our performance in 2018, we'll talk about our goals and our game plans to accelerate our performance in 2019 and beyond and then we'll get to the good stuff. We'll open up the floor to any questions that you may have. But before we get started, I'd like to pause and acknowledge a tremendous loss we all experienced in January with the untimely passing of Blake Nordstrom. Blake was an industry icon. He was a consummate gentleman. He was a beloved family member and friend.
