Welcome to Onex's 2019 Investor Day, and thanks for joining us here at the AGL and for those of you who are joining on our website.
When we look back, we can see that we've accomplished a lot in our 35-year history, and we're proud of the Onex that exists as it exists today. When we started this company in 1984, we had $50 million of capital and launched into the then new world of private equity, which was essentially a cottage industry at that time. We later raised an additional $390 million through a public offering and then the sale of some shares. And since then, we've grown that $390 million into $7 billion of shareholder capital, and that is after returning $2 billion to shareholders.
