Goldman Sachs Group Inc Annual Shareholders Meeting Transcript
Good morning, everyone. I'm David Solomon, the Chairman and CEO of Goldman Sachs. The opportunity to lead this firm is extraordinarily humbling and exciting, maybe even more so as this year is the firm's 150th anniversary. And this week, we also celebrate the 20th anniversary of our initial public offering. Thank you for joining us all at our Annual Shareholders Meeting or listening to our audio webcast. I now call the meeting to order.
I've been advised that holders of at least 86% of our outstanding shares are present in person or by proxy, and accordingly, a quorum is present. I hereby acknowledge that all matters to be voted upon as described in our proxy statement are properly before the meeting. It is Thursday, May 2 at 8:31 a.m. Eastern Time, and I declare the polls on all proposals open.
