Full Year 2021 GYM Group PLC Earnings Call Transcript
Good morning, everyone, and welcome to The Gym Group 2021 Results. We're going to be joined by Richard remotely. So I'm now going to hand over to Richard, who will open up proceedings.
Thank you, Mark. In a year when The Gym Group's made very significant strides in its recovery from COVID, unfortunately, I've been testing positive over the past few days for COVID myself, so sadly not able to join you in person. However, in person, we do have Mark George, our CFO; Ann-Marie Murphy, our Chief Operating Officer; and also, in the audience, Emily Kortlang, who's our new Group Brand and Marketing Director, and she'll be happy to take questions during the Q&A.
So I would highlight 3 things that we've put on this page in terms of the recovery that we've had in 2021. Firstly, the very strong membership recovery of 50% in the year that we made reference to in our statement this morning. And we do expect that to continue, as members
