Thank you, everybody, for joining us this morning. I'm Shlomo Rosenbaum, business services analyst with Stifel. And I want to thank JJ, CFO of Laureate, for joining us this morning for our fireside chat.
I'm going to just ask JJ to give us a brief overview of Laureate. And then we are going to kind of go through Q&A questions, and I highly encourage anybody who has any questions to throw them out.
JJ, why don't you give us a quick overview?
Great. Thank you, Shlomo. So just a couple of minutes. Laureate Education was founded in 1999 and is the largest network of higher education institutions really in emerging markets.
The Company went through a period of exclusive growth, then went back into an LBO in 2007 and has gone back and became a public company in 2017. Since then we have gone on a restructuring of our portfolio, focusing mostly on our Latin American market, and using some of our asset sales as a way of reducing our leverage,
