Rolls-Royce Holdings PLC Annual Shareholders Meeting Transcript
Hello, everyone, and thank you for joining us today. My name is Ian Davis. I'm Chairman of the Board of Rolls-Royce. Due to the social-distancing measures all of us are being asked to take in the U.K. to protect ourselves and others from COVID-19, we've taken the unprecedented step of not meeting with you face-to-face today. That is one of several changes we've had to make to the Annual General Meeting in order to comply with health guidance and changes required by the stay-at-home measures introduced in the U.K. As the situation becomes clearer over the coming months, we will explore ways in which we can offer you an opportunity to engage in person with your Board. But I hope you will see that we have endeavored to do what we can to give you, our shareholders, an opportunity to engage with us today in what are exceptionally challenging times.
