Okay. Good afternoon, and thank you for joining me here today. My name is Brett Heath. I'm the President and CEO of Metalla Royalty. Metalla trades on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol MTA, and also on the TSX Venture under the symbol MTA. And I will be making some forward-looking statements, so please understand those risks.
Now before we get into Metalla, what I'd like to do is I'd like to generally talk about some of the underlying trends that we've been seeing in the royalty sector today. And the royalty sector has really had a significant evolution over the last 12, 24 months. And it's something, as an investor, I think is important to keep an eye on. And one of those outlier standing trends that we've seen is really scarcity of high quality royalty assets. And this has been driven by, I believe, a few different things: one, major mining companies' balance sheets are in much better shape; they've been self-funding lots of operations; there's been less real critical discoveries being made.
