Rayonier Inc at REITWeek: NAREIT's Investor Forum Transcript
Good morning. Thank you for joining us. I'm Collin Mings, the timber REIT analyst at Raymond James. I'm pleased to have the opportunity to moderate this morning's discussion with Rayonier. Specifically, I'm joined on stage by CEO, Dave Nunes; and CFO, Mark McHugh. Laura Davis from Investor Relations is here as well.
Rayonier is 1 of 4 timber REITs and, more specifically, 1 of 2 pure-play timber REITs. The company has a portfolio that includes timberland in the U.S. South, Pacific Northwest and New Zealand. Rayonier's assets are located in some of the most desirable markets to own timberland and the company has a balance sheet poised for growth. However, relative to a year ago, there are some macro issues that have weighed on sentiment regarding the timber REITs.
