Good morning, everyone, and welcome to our results presentation for the year ended December 2023. I'm joined by our Group CFO, Wikus Olivier; and our Head of Strategy, Thabiso Rulashe. This morning, we'll take you through and give you some context of the operating environment, give you a sense of our strategy and then take you through our financial performance.
Starting off with just some of the key messages for this year. 2023 was certainly like the years before that -- a very difficult year. We implemented our future-fit strategy, restructuring the Group at the beginning of 2023. And we also began the journey to implement our underwriting actions to improve our underwriting margins.
Our broker partnerships across South Africa remains very, very strong, maintaining our leading market position. Our investment performance, together with strong performance in parts of our business has led to an acceptable result for us for the year 2023, also we have benefited from diversification across the Group.
