Tilray Inc at Barclays Global Consumer Staples Conference Transcript
Good afternoon, everyone, thank you for being at the conference. This is the last presentation of the day, and hopefully all of you have enjoyed this conference. I am Gaurav Jain, Barclays Tobacco and Cannabis Analyst. We are thrilled to have Brendan Kennedy, the CEO of Tilray here. Brendan is also the cofounder of Privateer Holdings. Tilray has had a very interesting experience in the stock market over the last year. The stock IPO-ed at $17 in the middle of 2018, and then it rose dramatically to over $200 within the next 3 months, and that coincided also with Constellation's investments into Canopy. We have had a very rough ride in the cannabis path since April or May of this year and Tilray has also suffered from that drawdown, currently their stock is trading at around $30. I think that the industry still has a pretty great opportunity to convert the illegal market into the legal market. And to talk more about the industry and within that, Tilray, here is Brendan Kennedy.
