Good afternoon, everyone. I'm Alex Blostein, capital markets analyst here at Goldman Sachs. Thank you all for joining us virtually.
For our next session, it is my pleasure to welcome Adena Friedman, President and CEO of Nasdaq.
Over the last several years, under Adena's leadership, Nasdaq has made significant progress in rotating the business toward more recurring and faster-growing areas within financial services, which contributed more than 70% of total revenues for the firm in 2020 with a targeted growth rate of 69% for that part of the business going forward. We will spend some time with Adena on how Nasdaq is positioned for future growth and opportunities they see in the market.
