Vodafone Group PLC Annual Shareholders Meeting Transcript
Good morning, everybody. It is 10:00. We are correct, and I now declare our general annual meeting open. I'm delighted to welcome you again to Vodafone's U.K. headquarters at the Pavillon in Newbury. And before we begin, I would like to mention that in line with our standard practice, this meeting is being webcast live, and you may appear on video.
I am the Chairman of your Board, Jean-François van Boxmeer is my name. To my left, is our General Counsel, Rosemary Martin; and I continue to my left, Crispin Davis, Amparo Moraleda and Dame Clara first. And to my right is our Chief Amite Chief Executive, Nick Read, David Nish, to his right, our Chief Financial Officer, Margherita Della Valle, and finally Valerie Gooding.. Deborah Kerr, who joined our Board on the first of March 2022 is unfortunately unable to be with us today due to illness and sents her apologies. And FeraMichel Demare is unable also to attend our meeting today and has sent his apologies
