I would like to welcome you to this Annual General Meeting of Shareholders of the North West Company, Inc. My name is Brock Bulbuck, and I am a Director of the North West Company, Inc., and Chair of the Board.
We are pleased to host today's meeting through a virtual meeting platform, accessible to all our shareholders regardless of physical location, to participate, submit questions and vote. I will act as Chair of today's meeting. I will now call this meeting to order.
Good morning, and welcome. I would like to acknowledge that the North West company head office is located on indigenous ancestral lands on Treaty 1 territory. The Red River Valley is also the birthplace of the Métis. We acknowledge that the water in the North West company comes from Shoal Lake.
I am honored to chair my first Annual General Meeting of the Northwest Company. As previously announced, Sandy Riley, retired as Chair of the Board of Directors following last year's Annual General Meeting. Sandy was first elected as a
