Standard Bank Group Ltd Annual Shareholders Meeting Transcript
Ladies and gentlemen, I welcome you to the 52nd Annual General Meeting of Standard Bank Group Limited. As you are aware, the circumstances surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic have once again made it impossible for this year's AGM to take the form of a gathering at the group's premises. I am, therefore, not able to address you in person, but please note that the Board still recognizes the importance of and appreciates your participation at this AGM.
As stated in my invitation to shareholders, this is an opportunity for shareholders of the company to participate in discussions relating to items outlined in the notice of the meeting. Board members, chairmen of all Board committees, senior management as well as the group's external auditors are available online to respond to questions and address any matters relating to resolutions to be tabled.
